"Who"
El Paso Texas Flags Across America.
Statement of Purposes: The Corporation is
organized for the purposes set forth in Section 501C(3) of the
Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the corresponding provisions of
any future United States Internal Revenue Law (the Code) and in
particular for furthering charitable, scientific, literary,
educational, and patriotic purposes including enriching public
respect and appreciation for the United States Flag and its customs
as well as fostering and promoting respect and courtesy owed to the
United States Flag.
"What"
We continue to raise funds to purchase American Flags so we can fly a beautiful 50 foot by 100 foot United States Flag on Holidays and a smaller flag 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (lighted at night).
"Where"
On 4.6 acres of land "with Revised Agreement dated September 4, 2008" to El Paso Texas Flags Across
America, located on the corner of Diana Drive and Gateway Boulevard North or South Exit 28,
El Paso, Texas.
"When"
On 14 June 2003 (Flag Day) or when $71,000.00
is raised to fund and pay for the flagpole and two flags, whichever
comes first.
It happened on 3 December 2003.
"Why"
To Honor ALL those who serve our Country and
those who have given their lives in the name of the Freedoms we
enjoy very day.
"What Then"

A memorial will be built
with cash and in kind contributions at a cost of approximately
$250,000.00

A trust fund will be
established, through further cash contributions, to provide for
perpetual maintenance of the site and facilities, i.e., water,
electricity, flag replacement and repair, etc.

Educational programs will
go into the schools and be presented at the Memorial Site.
